What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Email or phone is generally the primary first point of contact. It can be as detailed as necessary based on mutual agreement. At least 1 online conference is scheduled to obtain visual confirmation of specifications.

Essentially, the topics covered are defining the business, frequency and manner of progress reports, clarification of requirements and outline of a project and support plan.

A request of modest complexity would need a signoff of a project overview executive summary and a support service contract. Paperwork is kept to a minimum, but it's important to have agreements clearly stated in writing before any work is started. Obviously the less complex the request, the less content required in documentation.

Subsequent meetings concern project plan review as needed, milestones update. If feasible Diverse Elements will visit the client by appointment. When service delivery is complete a signoff on the invoice is requested.

Utilizing a background encompassing business systems analysis and programming for a number of years, subsequently combined with a degree in Management Sciences from Boston University, serves as a foundation for continous exploration in the field of internet marketing.

Generally speaking it depends on the service provided and level of customization involved. There are ranges of pricing for a service, say video marketing, but the higher end of the range will depend on factors like overhead (purchasing media rights is part of the request i.e. music, video clips), the length of the video, editing (beyond basic transitions, etc.) and commitment to delivery time.

Of course this can tend toward the lower range particularly if another service, such as a lead capture mechanism is added.

Basically the simpler the order, the lower the price, and I strive to be industry competitive.
