David Rainen, Psy.D., LLC

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with an extensive background treating a variety of different ages, situations, emotional and mental health disorders in individuals and their families. I specialize in treating adolescents and college-age students, but also have significant expertise providing treatment to children, adults, families, and couples. As part of my 10 year professional and training career in psychology, I have developed and refined my skills and approaches through my work in a variety of diverse settings including: hospitals, community outpatient facilities, college counseling centers, secure and unsecure inpatient/residential treatment programs, and therapeutic day schools.

I have tailored my approach to working with my patients in a manner specific to their own unique and personal needs. I firmly believe that everyone does the best that they can to manage the inevitable stressors that life brings. Since everyone is unique, it is important that I do not approach each person in the same way because this can be limiting to the therapeutic process. My goals are your goals. It is my intention to help you weather any crises that come your way, appropriately manage any personal struggles you may be afflicted with, and provide you with the skills, tools, and support necessary to face any challenges that may stand between you and all you wish to achieve.
