About
I help business professionals in the early and mid-stage of career/job search reconnect to their confidence, clarify their "why" and discover how they can live a more fulfilling life. Together, we explore one's purpose/mission, values, interests and background to identify potential careers or decision paths.
I don't fix (cause you are not broken!), advise or predict. Together, as client and coach, we seek, find and usher in your new direction or resolution with grace and ease. Your goals for coaching become our focus and my job is to help you reach them.
Each session's supportive space builds on another to create a foundation of confidence and self-awareness which in turn offers opportunities for fulfillment, empowerment and transformation.
PLEASE NOTE: I coach virtually at this time using Zoom.
I love helping someone clarify an issue, find a new direction or take action that they are excited and energized about.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Wouldn't it be nice if you could kick the tires . . . find out what coaching with me would be like before deciding? That's why I offer an initial consultation -- which even includes a brief and useful coaching session on a real topic. Having been through this Discover Coaching session, many tell me they gained some personal insights, and frequently, they tell me they finally have "hope" for a better future. For you, this session will give you the opportunity to be deeply listened to, explore your questions/road blocks, gain new insights and get a better sense for what coaching with me would be like.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I find my 25+ years of operations and HR experience working with for-profits, non-profits and start ups inform my practice helping others with career and life decisions. I have worked in a variety of industries and was inspired to become a coach when I realized that my calling was helping others see and move toward their greatest potential and opportunities.
I have a CPCC from the Co-Active Training Institute and a PCC from the International Coach Foundation. Together, they represent over 1000+ hours of direct coaching experience.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing is standardized and discussed in detail during the initial consultation. I also offer package discounts. The decision to be coached is far more than a monetary one, though I accept that is part of it. What's most important is the value to you of achieving your goals with the right coach. No pressure at all. I trust you will know what's best for you.
How did you get started in this business?
I was uncertain what I wanted to do after my many years in industry and so I sat myself down and wrote out my perfect job description. Many conversations and one training session later, I realized that the description was that of a coach, a job I knew little about! Once I experienced the power of coaching, the positivite impact it has on others, I knew I had found my calling.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Women and men of all ages, from 17 to 70! I have helped those early in their professional life (including recent grads), mid-late career, approaching retirement and some in retirement who want to add more meaning to their days. I mostly coach young professionals (and soon-to-be) and also mid-career who decide they wish to change career paths and explore entrpreneurial ventures, trades or education.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Always, my favorite event is a grand "Aha!" moment when my client visualizes their path ahead and connects with the motivation and the confidence to make it happen.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I always suggest interviewing a few coaches and using your intuition to choose the one that feels right for you. I don't "sell" my coaching services . . . I offer them as an option and for your consideration. YOU need to feel you can make the progress you want with whomever you decide to work with.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
It's important for you to think about what your goals are and how you will know when you have attained them. They may be lofty goals at this point, such as "Find work I love," or "How do I find my first job" and that's OK. Create a list of the things you want to know such as how long does the coaching process take, what is the frequency of meetings, and what the cost is per session or program. And use your intuition to help you decide.
