We are a small town firm with 2 CPAs and 3 other staff members. We prepare all types of tax returns and offer a variety of business services including payroll and bookkeeping.

What is your typical process for working with a new client?
We like to set up a meeting to discuss a client's needs and expectations. We review previous tax returns, we look at the client's bookkeeping setup and try to give an idea of timing and cost of services.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Two of us are CPA's, and those 2 plus 2 other preparers all go through annual continuing education programs.
Do you have a standard pricing system? If so, please share the details here.
The variety of services offered make a standard pricing system difficult. Certain services have a flat fee and other have a time based component.
How did you get started?
I bought the practice from a retiring owner in 1993.
