The client process is a very straightforward process which consists of typically 3 - 4 initial meetings followed by Quarterly and Annual Reviews with periodic events and other meetings as markets, geo-political and other outside factors may dictate. 

We walk our clients through an 8-Step process to get them on-track to financial independence as soon as possible while utilizing advanced strategies to mitigate the various types of risk as well as using the most up-to-date tax-advantaged concepts available in the marketplace today!

Our goal is to help our clients reach theirs by gaining a comprehensive understanding of what is truly important to them and then designing a customized strategy to give them the very best opportunity to realize those dreams and goals in their priorities, time-frames and quantifications which they desire.  This creates a flexible and workable plan that fits the plan to their lifestyle, not their lifestyle to some arbitrary, rigid plan utilizing the highest and best use of their available assets and resources.

My personal education in this area consists of 26 years of experience in crafting and executing advanced case business, estate and charitable strategies that have provided my clients with exceptional tax savings, realized investment earnings and risk-management tools that have stood the test of time. I hold 4 different securities licenses and a life & health license with certifications in Annuities and Long-Term Care insurance. I am licnesed in several states as I have hired, and continue to coach & mentor over 85 financial services Associates.

My Executive Assistant, Vicki Schapp, CFP, ChSNC; has over 30 years experience and holds her S7, S63, Life, Health and LTCi insurance licenses and certifications in several states.

Our current pricing system is a combination of fees & commissions depending upon which financial tool is being implemented and how the client prefers to pay for our services.  Each case is unique and is determined on a case-by-case basis.

I was a successful business owner who added two other shareholders into my company in 1985.  After a few years, we determined (aided by a financial services professional) that we needed to establish a Buy-Sell Agreement along with an Operating Agreement for our business, which was growing tremendously and thriving, in order to protect each of the shareholders and their families.  Unfortunately, we could not agree upon the specifics and lo and behold to my surprize, the two of them joined forces in a hostile takeover of the business and I lost everything I had worked so very hard to build!  As a result of that experience, I decided that it was my calling (and after further reflection on some other life experiences that I have had) and I entered the financial serrvices business at the age of 39.  I spent the first few years dedicating myself to learning everything possible about the business so that I could be of the most value to my clients and colleagues.  I then decided to go the independent route and became a part of Wealth Wave, LLC. | Transamerica Financial Group.

I have and continue to work with individuals, families, small closely-held business owners and other licensed professionals in all areas and aspects of their overall financial needs.  In the areas of business financial strategies, I have worked on Buy-Sell Agreements, Executive Compensation, Employee Benefits, Complex Estate & Charitiable Planning strategies, as well as helping people simply make better use of their money, assets and resources.  I also hold a mortgage license, a real estate license and am a real estate investor so I have a unique perspective and a holistic approach to assisting my clients to make well-informed decisions and approaches to their total financial picture.

Recently, I travelled to the Johns Creek area of Atlanta Georgia to listen to other professionals in our industry speak of the passion, desire and dedication to our profession and it heartened me greatly to know that there are so many, in fact the vast majority, I'm sure, that absolutely want the very best for their clients and that their own financial rewards will be based on how many other people they serve in an effort to make their local communities better through their service to their clients.

I would simply suggest to interview several prospective candidates, and decide based not only on experience and expertise represented, but also the general gut feeling they get when talking with the candidate.  Do they fell good about the relationship?  Do they believe the professional has their best interests at heart as the only focus for their relationship?  Do they present the markers of being  trustworthy and honest?

Do they themselves have a crystal clear vision of the future they desire?  When do they want it?  What do they want it to look like when they arrive?  What would that ideal lifestyle look like and cost in today's dollars?  Is it "stretchingly realistic"?  What are the milestones and significant moments they want to experience in their lifetime?  What kind of a legacy will they leave?  What are the values around money, finances and this whole area of their life do they want to translate and pass on to their family? Did they love, did they live, did they matter?  How?
