First I meet with them and learn about their business. Then determine their needs and wants.Finally, I look at past financial reports to determine how to move forward.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. I have worked as a bookkeeper for a diverse group of employers. I worked 11 years for a CPA in Illinois before moving back to my hometown of Bedford Indiana.

It is deficult to standardize pricing because each business is unique as is their Accounting needs.
How did you get started in this business?
I started at a bank then desired more personalized service where I work directly with clients.

Contractors, Restaurants, Not for Proft, Retail, Insurance, Inns and Event Centers.

Look for someone who is honest, who meets deadlines and who is easy to connect with.
