About
We hear it all the time, “ I feel like I am at home when I’m here”. Our services stand out because we truly care about each person who walks through our door. We are a small business who has been helping our Glen Ellyn community for 23 years. We prefer a smaller patient base, so we can spend the necessary time to really listen to our patient’s concerns. Our services are customized to each patient’s unique needs. At DuPage Healthcare you will never feel alone on your health care journey.
I enjoy changing lives. It’s not the absence of a patient’s chronic pain or that they lost 100 pounds on our program that makes me excited to go to work every day. It’s when chronic pain is gone, and they can finally play with their kids. It’s because they lost 100lbs they can get a job. When a patient can return to life and enjoy it, that is what I love about my job.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a new patient walks in our door we want you to feel at home and at ease that you are among people who care and who want to help you.
We value your time and to keep your appointment on schedule we offer the option to fill out your paperwork online before you arrive for your appointment. If that is not an option, we welcome you to arrive 15 minutes earlier to complete it in our waiting room.
If you are scheduling for a chiropractic evaluation, then your first visit will begin by meeting with Dr. Pepping.
If you are scheduling as a neuropathy patient or metabolic weight loss patient, you will start your visit with a short video to educate you on your condition and how our programs are different and why they work.
Each chiropractic, neuropathy, or weight loss visit consists of a consultation, examination, and X-rays if medically necessary. At this visit, Dr. Pepping strives to understand what your concerns are and how they are negatively affecting your life.
After your initial visit you will be scheduled for a second at which Dr. Pepping will review your x-rays, exam findings, and outline her best care recommendation along with costs for care and if you have insurance what your insurance covers.
Your second visit is also when you will know if Dr. Pepping can accept you as a patient in our office. Dr. Pepping only accepts the patients that she knows she can truly help and who want to be helped.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Life!
Owning an office for 23 years has given me the best training of all. Knowing what types of conditions people are suffering with, how our ever changing "digital" world influences these conditions, and how patients respond to treatment.
But on a more formal level:
1996-Doctorate degree from The National University of Health Sciences
1994-Bachelor Of Science in human biology from The National University of Health Sciences.
1992-Bachelors of Science from Northern Illinois University.
I am a certified McKenzie instructor from the McKenzie Institute
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We offer the most affordable options to our patients.
If you have insurance, we will verify your benefits as a courtesy and let you know what services are covered.
If you do not have insurance, we can offer you a "Health Pass" which will include everything from your Day 1 visit up to your report of findings on Day 2.
If your insurance verification comes back with a high deductible or the cost is more than our "Health Pass" price we will offer that you to help reduce your costs.
We offer massage therapy and include this in most of our care plans. If your insurance does not cover this service, we have a massage club that makes this service more affordable.
How did you get started in this business?
As an avid athlete I always wanted to dedicate my life to helping people and started down the physical therapy path which lead me to the field of Chiropractic.
At the time Chiropractic gave me the autonomy to not only practice physical therapy, but to be in control of my patients care.
Now I practice Chiropractic because it is the best drug free connection to help people's bodies to heal naturally. It's affordable, and it can change a person's life.
What types of customers have you worked with?
After 23 years I could say everyone.
Babies, children, teens, middle aged, and the elderly.
Lower back pain, neck pain, numbness and tingling in the extremities, headaches, ...
The patients I enjoy working with the most are the ones who have lost hope or who have been told incorrect information. These people have the most life changing experiences.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I have a newer patient who is 65, in a lot of pain, and was recently taken advantage of financially by another doctor’s office.
She had tears in her eyes and said that over the weekend she had 4 straight hours of no pain. She said it was like a miracle.
Then she hugged me!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
A Personal recommendation from a friend or family is always the best way to find any professional.
If that is not an option for you then, unfortunately there is really no way to know if you have connections with an office or doctor until you meet them.
With social media and savvy websites anyone can look good on paper or tablet.
See if they have an introductory, make an appointment, and find out for yourself if it's a good fit.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
1. How convenient is the office location? If it's too far away it will be challenging to follow through with any care plan.
2. Do I like the services they offer? Do you like massages? Acupuncture?
3. Will I be able to work with their hours?
4. Do they offer any type of new patient special? This allows you to form your own opinion about this office. The Dr. Patient relationship is so important. Many patients will choose an office only if their insurance covers it. Personally, I don't want my insurance to control who I see. I would want to see who is best for me and work with their financial policy.
