The difference starts with the location and environment. The treatment room is beautiful and the space is awash with peace and quiet with. As soon as clients walk in they are met with a quaint and cozy lounge area where you have access to your choice of coffees, teas, lattees or chocolate from our state of the art coffeer bar machine while you wait. Upon sitting down with me you will get a client practioner relationship that is deeply concerned with your needs first and foremost. I always ask the client what they want out of each vist and do everything in my ability to meet that desire. Clients also have a the option to play music or burn incense or essential oils for the duration of the session, this feature is available both at my busines location and on house calls.
What sets my services apart from typical massage and bodywork offerings is that I use east Asian techniques such as Tui-na, fire cupping, Zen Shiatsu(A Japanese form of acupressure), gua-sha and CBD oil treatments. All these modalites are not only able to provide relaxation and stress relief like typical massage, but it is also able to benefit nearly any condition you are seeking help with. Be it pain/injury, edema, digestive issues, sleep issues, migraines, and fatigue/low energy problems!
I simply enjoy helping people get back to back to themselves, heal and sharing knowledge that helps other development themselves on the physical, mental, emotional & spiritual levels.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
AOBTA-CP: Bodywork, Chinese Medicine, Reiki, Qi Gong
I am a certified practioner of the American Association for Bodywork Therapies of Asia(AOBTA-CP). This certification allows Asian Bodywork therapist to practice Bodywork without a Massage therapist license due to Exemption as explained in the Illinois Massage Licensing act below.

Sec. 25 Exemptions.

(g) Practitioners of Asian bodywork approaches are exempt from this Act if they are members of the American Organizations of Bodywork Therapies of Asia as certified practitioners or if they are approved by on an Asian bodywork organization based on a minimum level of training, demonstration of competency, and adherence to ethical standards set by their governing body.
Holders of the AOBTA-CP are both legally and professionally qualified to perform massage amd other bodywork therapies in the state of Illinois.
I received my trainjng at Zen Shiatsu Chicago, a massage and asian bodywork school accredited by the here AOBTA-CP & Illinois board of Education. I learned traditional Chinese medicine, Zen shiatsu therapy, tui-na, Qi Gong, Reiki, and various other healing modalites. This program requires 715 hours to graduate, this is 215 hours more bodywork training than that which a typical licensed massage therapist receives. The state requirement for massage therapist licensure is 500hrs.
