About
My chiropractic adjustments are very specific, gentle yet effective. I am not a factory style office where everyone is treated the same. I listen. I have lots of treatment options except prescription drugs. I work closely with Functional MDs should you need one. I can help you find the highest quality supplements on the market, ones you can trust.
"First, minimize pain, then maximize function"
Dr. Jill House, DC
Best day at work...Fixing a back problem a patient was told would need surgery...without needing to do surgery!
Or treating a little girl who couldn't sleep due to leg pains who I got completely out of pain in two visits.
I enjoy meeting other health minded people who use chiropractic routinely as part of their wellness plan.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After a Friendly, "Hello!" there is a bit of paperwork, vitals, and a tour of the office. Next Dr. Jill House sits with you in a private room to hear the details and ask questions until she understands your complete history. Then she performs an exam specific to your issues and if needed take any xrays. The full first treament is usually done on the second visit, but if you are in pain, she will start right away to get you as comfortable as possible that night.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Four years undergrad, plus four years at Chiropractic school. I am certified in Acupuncture, and trained with using physical therapy devices (electric stim / ultrasound / heat / ice ). I continue my education every year (for over 20 years) with seminars and lectures done a few weekends on topics that interest me , usually new manual techniques or functional medicine, and lab testing / nutrition and pediatric chiropractic.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We are in-network with Medicare and BC/BS PPO. Some money will be due on the initial visit. For these two insurances, there will be write-offs and the total due will be less than pricing below.
Exams usually $82 or $110 depending on complexity.
Adjustments $30- $40, X-rays $60 per area, Exercise Education $32, Massage/Manual Therapy $20 for each 15min
How did you get started in this business?
I was accepted into Physical therapy school at Loyola but there was a 2 year waiting list at the time. While waiting I met a woman who was going to school for chiropractic. That's how I found out about it. Loved it every since.
What types of customers have you worked with?
3 months old to 92 years old. Anything from wellness care (just keeping people feeling their best) to people barely walking. We do not have a handicap ramp so you have to be able to walk. People with canes do fine in our office. We are NOT an urgent care facility, so if you are bleeding or think you may have broken something, please go to an urgent care clinic like Loyola Center for Health at Homer Glen.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Farmers markets, outdoor concerts, and Game nights.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Find one that matches your personality. Don't put it off too long, problems only get harder to fix the longer they are around. Know your insurance benefits by callign yourself. They can lie to office staff but you can hold them to whatever they tell you personally. Realize that sometimes what you NEED isn't going to be covered by your insurance and insurance care that is free may come with a different cost (side effects, more of your time by requiring more visits).
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Search til you find what you need. Ask for free consult before commiting to exam charge if you are unsure about a new Doc. Always ask about how you can get copies of your records, xrays and lab results to take with you. Helps if you need to see someone else later.
