What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After all necessary documents have been gathered, I go through a Q&A with the client to ensure that no deductions, credits, etc are missed. It is pertinent to hear the customer's background to ensure that we file with the most advantageous outcome possible and don't miss any valuable inputs.

How did you get started in this business?
I've always loved numbers and had an interest in law. Filing tax returns has afforded me the opportunity to pursue both. I've known I wanted to be an Accountant since I was a teenager.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I'm comfortable working with the most detail oriented of clients, the least organized, and anyone that falls in the middle.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently wrote an E-Book about why people struggle to get ahead financially and how they overcome those things to WIN! It took me several months and was a very rewarding experience.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ensure that they have a background in Taxation instead of merely being a data entry person that relies on tax software for accuracy. Ensure that they can explain the difference between a deduction and a credit. Ensure they're personable - taxes aren't the easiest conversation piece, but they should be able to make it a bit less daunting and walk you through any concerns you may have.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Provide as much detail as possible, but your tax person should be able to vet all information through their Q&A process as well.
