I enjoy educating people about taxes and how they are prepared. I love to meet new people and help those who have small business gain access to tool, funding and material they can benefit from in order to get their business off the ground.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First there is customer intake form, we discuss types of income, family size, prior year tax returns. We gage for small business owner setup. We then prepare the tax return during the interview we ask tailored questions for each taxpayers situation so we can maximize allowable deductions and credits. We finish up with review of forms filled out. Copies send or printed and payment arrangements.
if needed we refer our clients to our bookkeeping package at a discounted rate for 6 months
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an MBA in accounting and Fianance. I am also an IRS PTIn holder. I have up to date CLE credits for tax preparations.
I used to work for Jackson Hewitt Tax services for over 14 years.

Yes, prices are standard and do not include the bank processing fee which is usually an addition $30-$40
How did you get started in this business?
I started by business because I got tired of people over paying for tax preparation services. I realized that educating people in addition to tax preparation was the key to better services and also allowing customer to fell more involved and knowledgeable about their taxes and benefits.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with a variety of customer all ages, economic backgrounds, small business owners, owner operators (truckers).
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
My advice is find someone who can explain your taxes to you before they are prepared. Someone who can tell you how to better prepare for the upcoming tax year and who can referr to you to other resources that fit you individual circumstances.
