I like to meet the client to discuss their needs. At this time I share with the clients deductions and credits are best for them.
I let them know the cost of my service and the options available for them to pay.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate of DePaul University. I complete continuing education hours annually to learn about changes or updates to the tax laws.
How did you get started in this business?
I worked as a Business Manager for several Chicago Public Schools. This position allowed me to develop a relationship of trust with different staff members. I was already doing my own taxes and a few family members.
A few teachers learned about that and asked me to do their taxes.
