I can balance clients' debits and credits properly in both their bank accounts and their books. I can also prepare individual tax returns efficiently and ethically, along with maximizing their tax write-offs. That way, they can pay little to no inocme taxes when all is said and done.
I believe that a one-on-one accountant/client relationship is the way to go, in terms of reaching out to their financial needs and desires. Whetehr it is on the phone, online or in person, I amke sure I can make myslef available to them when they need it most.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask them what accounting services do you need for the time being. I quickly adhere to their needs and concerns by invetsigating their receipts, invoices, bank and/or credit card accounts.
If they have a Quickbooks Account, I inspect any discrepancies that may otherwise prevent their books and bank accoutns form being reconciled properly. Additionally, I work with other Enrolled Agents who provide me some helpful tips and suggetsions on how I can prepare the clients' tax returns in a proper fashion.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Certificate in Professional Accounting from Oakton Community College. I am currently a Quickbooks ProAdvisor. I am working on my goal to become an Enrolled Agent as well.
I also hold degrees in Psychology and Literature from the University of Illinois at Chicago. These fields facilitate my ability to deal with people.

I charge a flat rate of $200 for bookkeeping and $100 for tax preparation.
How did you get started in this business?
Many individuals and small businesses need to know how much cash is going in versus how much cash is going out. Unfortunately, they do not have the time or the inclination to reconcile their books. Therefore, I felt the need to intervene and come to their aid as a bookkeeper. This is how I started my own business.

I have worked with clients who have rental income, small businesses, regular individuals, etc.
