What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A typical small business bookkeeping client receives a year to date Income Statement & Balance Sheet each month along with quarterly comprehensive financial analysis to help steer the business to maximum profitability. Bookkeeping clients also get a discount on annual income tax filings for state & federal with an emphasis on minimizing the tax burden of the business owner. Once an account is set up, monthly entries can be handled with emails from the client and monthly billing can be handled through a credit or debit card or from a checking account through PayPal. This system minimizes the time needed from the business owner and affords low monthly payments.
Many small business people are great at doing their business but lack the accounting skills needed to accurately do their books and interpret what the financial statements are telling them. With this in mind, we set up the chart of accounts needed for each business and handle the appropriate entries to these accounts monthly.
