Source Healing has been a top tier acupuncture clinic in Chicago for the past 17+ years. This can be attributed to our Clinic Director, Christie, who created the “Source Method,” which allows a more thorough and above-and-beyond treatment, which may include the following: intuitive acupuncture, custom Chinese herbs, Eastern nutritional recommendations, cupping or gua sha, moxibustion, recommendations on lifestyle shifts, guided meditation and breath-work, custom flower essence remedies, and possible stone/crystal work.
Our appointments are one on one, unlike many other clinics in Chicago who are seeing 3-8 clients per hour, so that we can focus your treatment on you in all aspects of your life.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
No matter what led you to us, whether a physical, emotional, or spiritual challenge, or a combination of all three, we are here to help guide you back to clarity and flow. Our sessions are focused only on you, meaning we don't work on multiple patients at once. We do this because we want to get to know you specifically and create a healing path with you.
Our initial treatment takes 90 minutes. During this appointment, we will conduct an Oriental medicine exam as well as a health history and medical intake. This will be followed by acupuncture and adjunctive therapies as needed. We may incorporate herbs, nutrition, lifestyle counseling, and a flower essence consult if indicated.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our practitioners are trained in the Source Method™, which combines a blend of intuitive acupuncture, East Asian herbs, Eastern Nutrition, guided meditations, energy work, breath work, flower essence remedies, and other tools to assist patients in their health and well-being.
You also get the added benefit of having a group practice at your service, so you can schedule with anyone here at a time that works for your busy schedule. Our practitioners collaborate with one another on each patient case, which we call "ThinkTanks." We do regular ThinkTanks on our collective patients to find the best possible course of action for everyone's unique process of healing.
Our practitioners are National Board Certified by the NCCAOM, which certifies them for both acupuncture and herbs, licensed by the state of Illinois, and they have a Master or Doctorate Degree in Oriental Medicine, which consists of over 3000 hours of instructions and over 1000 hours of clinical hands on experience. Additionally, the practitioners are trained in Western sciences, and various forms of energy work that keeps the treatments individualized and inspired. As part of the Source Healing group practice, each practitioner infuses treatments with intuitive grace, deep listening, and gentle, expert guidance.

How did you get started in this business?
"I realized my passion for the healing arts after I watched my dad move through his healing process when he was diagnosed with Stage IV cancer. I wanted to help people get in touch with their own body’s ability to heal and teach them to become aware of the effects of emotional and spiritual disharmony in the physical body and take action before they debilitated to a point of no return.
