I have been a family law attorney for 30 years and practice in 13 counties. I have a Master's degree in Social Work which enables me to assist families in minimizing the stress that families may otherwise experience when going through this process. Many issues can be handled through email, mail or teleconferences, so I try to minimize the number of court dates to minimize your bill. My availability allows for night and weekend appointments if needed.

I also handle landlord/tenant cases, powers of attorney, wills, guardianships for disabled adults and children, juvenile cases, cases involving DCFS, grandparent and other relative visitation cases, criminal defense cases, adoptions, etc. I do not handle social security cases, disability cases, worker's comp cases, personal injury cases, or cases involving employer discrimination, etc.

Furthermore, I am an approved mediator, and an approved guardian ad litem. I represent children in their best interests, as well as their own wishes.

I am licensed in the State of Illinois only and can only advise people in Illinois. I can do most contact through the phone and email and many court dates are on Zoom.

I am an adult child of divorce. The most important issue in a case involving children is how well they adjust to the divorce process, as well as after that process is completed. I enjoy getting people out of situations that are distressing and helping them to move on to the next phase of their lives.

I cannot even begin to imagine any other career! I love what I do!
