Evergreen Counseling And Consulting
About
I am trained in several treatment modalities that dovetail nicely, affording me the ability to customize treatment for many different kinds of people (including EMDR, Flash Technique, and IFS). I care deeply about forging strong relationships with the people I work with and working with you to think and feel through the best way to proceed with your treatment.
I especially enjoy working with intellectual giftedness/high IQ, LGBTQ+ folx, and religious/spiritual trauma. Trauma is my clinical specialty.
During the COVID-19 crisis, I am conducting telemental health (phone or video sessions) only. Once we are able safely to resume in the office, I plan to be in the office Tuesdays and Fridays and offer sessions starting as early as 10:00 am and as late as 6:00 pm.
I love watching people get excited about the ways they're changing their lives! Whether you feel stuck in a rut or afraid to go for a big goal, I'm passionate about helping you set the conditions to make progress toward your heart's desires.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to have a quick, ten-minute phone conversation to determine if I'm a good fit for your needs. Next, I'll have you come in or videoconference for an initial session during which we'll discuss your goals and my typical process. If all goes well and both parties feel comfortable, we'll set up a treatment plan and start working toward your therapeutic goals!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BS in Psychology
MA in Professional Counseling
MTS
Trained in EMDR, IFS, LGBTQ+ concerns, and issues surrounding intellectual giftedness.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My fee is $95 per session, and I only accept self-pay clients. I can provide a superbill for those who wish to submit to their insurance companies on their own.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with lots of different kinds of people! I deeply enjoy working with people who have experienced trauma, religious/spiritual abuse, LGBTQ+ folk, and intellectual giftedness. In addition, I have worked with many persons experiencing depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and dysphoria.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Call several therapists and talk with them about how they work! Not every therapist is a good fit for your needs, and it pays to find someone with whom you feel comfortable.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
If you are a minor child, please have your parent contact me. By law, I cannot work with persons under 18 without parental consent.
