What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will do a client intake with them that includes medical history, medications, past and current injuries to include motor vehicle accidents.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a licensed massage therapist 28 years and I renew 24 continuing education credits bi-ennially for the State of Florida and Georgia. I am certified in Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques, Activated Isolated Stretching, Deep Tissue, Pregnancy, Sport Massage, Low Back Pain, The B.E.S.T-non-invasive Chiropractic Technique.

How did you get started in this business?
I got started in the business in 1994 from a good friend who told me I would be a great massage therapist. So I enrolled in the Florida Institute of Massage Therapy and the rest is history 28 years later. I still absolutely love what I do.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have been blessed to get to know and be the personal massage therapist to WWE Wrestler Chris Benoit and his wife Nancy Benoit at there home in Fayetteville, Georgia.
I have also been blessed to have gotten to know and be the personal massage therapist to Marc Savard from the Atlanta Thrashers and the Boston Bruins.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I had an opportunity to recently work on-site with the employees of Coke in Atlanta. I assisted with stress management and a relaxing 15 minute chair massage.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
1-If you are experiencing pain of any kind, seek a licensed massage therapist that has at least 10 or more years of experience.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
1-How long have they been a therapist?
2-What are your credentials of study?
3-Are you licensed, if so what state(s). Look up their license through the Board of Health or Board of Massage for that state and make sure they are legitimately licensed. This is usually found within the Secretary of State.
