Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A new client we send a Consent to Use form, a Consent to Disclose form and a intake worksheet. This can also be done by using our taxestogo link at:
https://www.taxestogo.com/app/download/6567
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed the IRS Annual Filing Season Tax Preparer Certification Course (AFSP), and C&C Electronic Tax and Financial Service Course for Fraud Detection to be an IRS Certifying Acceptance Agent (CAA) for ITIN applications for those not eligible for a social security number.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Our standard pricing or fees are the same for all clients on personal or business income tax returns. We annually review fees based on the National Society of Accountants (NSA) nationwide report.
How did you get started in this business?
I got started in this business after retiring from the Internal Revenue Service after 11 years, and had a desire to create a forward thinking tax service that also makes a difference in the local community. A portion of every fee goes back into the local church, and 4 domestic and 4 international charities in the poorest areas of the World.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with individuals, small business, corporations, Non-Profits, International taxpayers, and sole proprietors.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A recent event in 2022, we were able to assist a non-profit in another state to file all of their tax returns, and reinstate their organization to active status so they could receive donations for artificial intelligence education.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
My advice would be to check the IRS list of tax preparers in your local area for credentials, also check in Upwork for tax preparer profiles, and the Better Business Bureau for their rating.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
They may want to decide to work with someone local, or in another state.
Go on to legitimate sources for information like their state department of revenue, or the Internal Revenue Service website.
