About
I am an Enrolled Agent licensed to practice before the IRS. I have earned my NTPI Fellow which means that not only can I speak directly to the IRS regarding my customers' taxes without him/her being present, I can represent my customers in an IRS audit, collection or appeal. If a taxpayer finds himself/herself in tax trouble, that person needs to call me.
My tax services are detailed, service oriented, and with the client from start to finish, also includes follow up if need.
My goal is to keep my clients long term and to foster business relationships. I started Marlin Tax Consulting six years ago with the goal to not just gain clients and prepare their taxes but to deliver excellent service available 24/7.
My clients are hardworking taxpayers: teachers, students, travel agents, small business owners, and more. My customers are also school PTAs and booster club organizations that need help with their non-profit tax forms and audits.
I love to help taxpayers with their tax problems, handle Offer in Compromise and more. Other tax clients include 501(c)(3) tax returns as well as creating nonprofits for small organizations and assisting with reinstating tax-exempt status that IRS revoked.
I welcome a challenge and available anytime, 24/7/365. I'm also a Notary Public. I also issue 1099s for booster clubs and small business.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It starts with a phone call and consulting, listening to why the taxpayer called, find out if it's something I can do for the customer. After qualifying the call, I make arrangments to meet my client if necessary or the client can communicate by fax, e-mail and send all tax papers via secure portal.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Started with H&R Block in 1996 and worked during tax season. Graduated from Georgia State University in 2010 in Finance and got my Enrolled Agent license in March, 2011. Became a NTPI Fellow (National Tax Practice Institute) in 2015 to become an expert representative before IRS.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Each tax situation is different and I do not give a set price until I see what my client has given me.
