I have practiced in direct clinical settings since 2008. Over the years, I have worked with a variety of individuals dealing with a spectrum of mental health issues with the goal of helping others to live a happy and healthy life!

I thrive off of building connections with people and believe in investing in others' mental, emotional and physical health. I am energized when I am helping others. My therapy model focuses on the person, their goals and ultimately what holds them back from being their best.

    Frequently asked questions

Initially, I provide a FREE 15-minute phone consultation to assess the potential client's needs and goals as well as to highlight my therapeutic mode of providing services. During this phonecall, I review my fees for service as well as determine if the individual has received therapy services before. Together, we will decide if I am a good fit for the potential client and am able to meet their therapeutic needs so that they can ultimately reach their goals. Then, we will schedule their first therapy session to begin working through their emotional barriers so that they can live a happy, fulfilling life.

I received a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Georgia State University in May of 2007. Immediately following graduation, I began my Graduate program and received a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Georgia in 2008 via the advanced standing program. Utilizing my degrees and internship experiences, I worked in a variety of Social Work roles including child and family services, forensic interviews, trauma and grief work and victims' advocacy. In 2011, I became a Licensed Master Social Worker and in 2013, I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, both in the State of Georgia. In order to obtain these licensures, an individual must have a Master's Degree in Social Work as well as have received acceptance from the State of Georgia to sit for the licensure exam. Since receiving my clinical licensure, I have provided direct clinical services in a number of settings and roles including behavioral health, Probate Court, skilled and assisted living settings, schools, hospitals and private homes. I serve individuals from all ethnicities, age groups and those struggling with a multitude of mental health complications. I have an unrestricted clinical license and in addition to providing conventional therapeutic interventions, I also provide diagnostic assessments and mental capacity evaluations for legal entities.
