I have over 25 years of experience. I owned a CPA practice with two offices in Florida. I eventually sold the practice amd buildings to two of my long time CPA's. My wife and I had a sailboat built for us in Barcelona Spain. We sailed it back to Florida and then continued to sail to Nova Scotia, Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Turks and Caicos, Virgin Islands, St. Barts, St. Martin and various other places for a couple of years. I would come back to Florida for tax seasons to make the transition easier on the sale of the practice. After that, I continued to practice from the clients I picked up through referrals. After sailing, my wife and I moved to Brevard, North Carolina which is where we are at now.
