I have been employed by Jackson Hewitt Tax Service since Nov, 2018. I started my own tax service in January of 2020 while working on my Master of Finance degree. I enjoy workig with numbers, helping clients lower their tax bill, and being a service provider for the community. I am confident that I am the perfect candidate for your tax preparation needs because it will enable me to continue to utilize the skills, knowledge, and customer service experience attained from previous employers.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have provided tax preparation services for individuals, self employed, and retired tax payers. My specialty is working with senior citizens.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Last tax season I completed 132 tax returns.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure that your tax preparer is registered with the IRS. IF this is a owner operater they should not only have an EIN and PTIN the tax preparer should be registered for electronic services with the IRS. This way you know that the IRS has verified the tax preparer's identity, completed a finger print and background check. Professionsal tax preparers are available all year and update there tax law hours yearly, just as like an enrolled agent, accountant or lawyer.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Do I need a professionsal that is well versed with tax laws or am I willing to study the randomly changing tax laws myself?
