What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When counselors go to work, they may have the same desk, but the clients they see are different than yesterday. Their clients experience life and transform who they are every second; the person the counselor saw in the previous session is a little different during the current session because they experienced life, which is shaping their outlook Counselors must prepare for the unknown by simply being available for the client every session.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I work as a Counselor at a federal halfway house, it housed pre-released inmates. The various programs we offered helped them navigate back into society by aiding them in conquering drug abuse, homelessness, depression, mental health issues, sexual abuse, and etc. This job helps us redefine our lifes' purpose and we are delighted to help serve society.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I have a standard pricing system for everyone that inquire about my services. My team charges at a rate of $25 for each session, and for monthly sessions with unlimited access to be able to call or text at anytime is $300.
How did you get started in this business?
I've always thought that your passion was centered around something you do the most but it requires the least amount of effort and talking became that for me. As years and time went by I was always giving advice to different people from various backgrounds, struggling, to make what seemed like chaos in the brain and redefining it as reassurance and peace. I try to help people navigate their negative thoughts into seeing the positive beyond them and so my years of experience along with education made me shoot for the stars.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I'm my years of working I have work with clients who suffer from substance abuse, depression, sexual abuse, mental health issues, unhealthy relationships, and anxiety.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
The advice I would give a customer when hiring a professional is to make sure the professional is familiar with evidence-based treatment along with practical experience to be able to accomadate your counseling needs.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
When talking to a professional to accomadate your needs always be clear about what it is you are seeking, the challenges you are facing to overcome this need, and are you willing to put in the work to accomplish this need internally.
