About
I enjoy helping my clients achieve their business goals through branding and marketing communications. I have worked for large corporations and small startups but I deliver the same high level creative solutions no matter the size of the organization. I'm a people person and I like to build long-term business relationships so that I be my clients' "go-to" as they grow.
I have been operating as an independent design contractor since 2004. I live in Atlanta but I have clients all over North America.
I am proficient in all the industry standard desktop publishing software programs (Adobe Creative Cloud) as well as the Google Suites and the Microsoft suite. I have a working knowledge of HTML, CSS, WordPress, and I am a Squarespace Circle designer. I also have created many animated web ads.

What types of customers have you worked with?
I have successfully nurtured many client relationships and I take pride in helping them reach their business goals. The Arthritis Foundation, ASA Airlines, The Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Captain D’s, Chick-fil-A, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Coca-Cola Fountain Division, Delta Air Lines, The Jekyll Island Club Hotel, The Home Depot, and Landmark Christian Schol are just a few of the clients I have had the pleasure to serve.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was asked to design a branding document for a new recording studio and entertainment facility here in Atlanta called SESSIONS. This venture was the brainchild of Christopher Alan "Tricky" Stewart. Tricky is a Grammy Award winning record producer and music publisher.
I developed the look and feel of the brand and provided guidelines for the application of the brand in this document. To see sample pages from the document visit my website: https://www.designtheoryatl.com/work/sessions
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would advise a client to seek out a designer who truly listens and who takes a personal stake in the outcome of the venture. Work with someone who pays attention to every detail and who won't rest until you're happy. In other words, someone like me!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Customers should be honest with themselves about what they are willing to invest in order to bring their project to life. Are they just trying to get it done on the cheap or are they serious about creating something professional that is going to present their brand in the best possible light? If something is worth doing, it's worth doing right.
