Q & A

What is your typical process for working with a new client?

Every client fills out a confidential health form which will be used to do a consultation before your session. We'll design a treatment plan for relieving your muscle ache and/or managing your stress. A variety of techniques may be used to achieve your goals for treatment, and will also incorporate deep relaxation.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I received my Therapeutic Massage diploma from Florida College of Natural Health in 2002. Each year I take continuing education courses to get certification for massage modalities to keep my skills updated.

Do you have a standard pricing system? If so, please share the details here.

I offer a new client $20 savings for your first session. If you remain on a consistent plan of at least one session per month, you may enjoy the $20 savings with each visit.

How did you get started?

I had an interest in natural health and Holistic therapies, and I worked as a Chiropractic assistant before attending massage school. I've had a rewarding career of fifteen years helping people relieve muscular pain and stress.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Over the years, I've helped people from young children to seniors relieve muscle pain. My client base currently consists of women between 35-65 years of age, who are busy and stressed out. They need relief from muscle ache, and massage is an effective, natural way to maintain their wellness.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a professional in your area of expertise?

I would advise that you seek a therapist who is not only technically skilled, but also has the compassion to listen to your needs. This should come across from the moment you speak with them about booking a treatment. Are they asking the right questions? Do you feel comfortable in their presence?

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their needs?

Sometimes, we deal with pain or tension for so long, it becomes a "norm" for us. Before booking a session, take some time to really feel   what's going on in your body. You'll be better able to communicate with the therapist, and your treatment plan can be better designed if you're in tune with your needs. Ask yourself  if you have pain with movement. Are you having trouble sleeping? Is there an unusual amount of stress in your life at the moment? Have you had to take medication for your pain or anxiety?
