William Brooks, a native of Los Angeles, California, is the CEO and Founder of Moving Mindset Inc., American author, entrepreneur, life coach, youth minister, fitness expert, and Army/Navy veteran. Coach Brooks has become known as one of the most inspirational leaders of his community. His journey to this acclaim started when he endured a wrongful arrest and faced a 25-year prison sentence.

In 2009, his unlawful arrest, which he recognizes as a fateful encounter, grew Coach Brooks' desire to seek out the meaning of his life—drawing from Bible base principles, utilizing prayer, and having faith in God-opened the door to Coach Brooks' providential purpose, transforming him into a living testimony of triumph through trial by fire, as the case against him was dismissed in the interest of justice.

Over the next seven years, Coach Brooks would passionately serve as a federal law enforcement official gaining exceptional experience as a Department of Justice Special Operations and Response Team member and top graduate of the world-renowned San Bernardino SWAT school. During his service, He earned several of the agency’s top awards, of which some included Rookie of the Year, Time-Off award, Special Act Award, Certificate of Recognition, and a Letter of Commendation.

In 2016, after serving 5 years as a law enforcement official in the low to maximum security prisons, Coach Brooks' inspiration to enlighten and empower others came after acknowledging the many defects of the American penal system. As a result, he chose to resign his position and begin a passionate pursuit of mentoring and guiding at-risk youth. In that same year, he founded Moving Mindset Inc., an all-encompassing life coaching and mentoring service for both youth and adults, which has reached individuals and families across the globe.

In 2018, Coach Brooks chose to share his story with his self-published book, Prison, Prayer, Provision, Purpose, an awe-inspiring and hopeful journey of his tremendous battles with the American Justice System. In the same year, he founded the Unbreakable Knights of Paulding County, Georgia, an independent high school football team. Being the passionate leader he is, Coach Brooks led the Knights in their inaugural season to a 6-5 record, placing 2nd in the National Association of Christian Athletes National Tournament.

At the end of the Knights’ season, he was promoted to general manager of Tapout Fitness in Dallas, Georgia. Tasked with rebuilding, at the time, the only corporate location. Coach Brooks facilitated his unique strategic plan known as “Unscripted Techniques” to create ongoing revenue growth while significantly reducing expenditures. His guidance allowed the failing facility to become the face of the franchise.

Coach Brooks further extended his ability to positively affect change as a trained motivational speaker from the Respect Institute of Georgia. Today, Coach Brooks continues to transform individuals, teams and organizations as a subject matter expert in entrepreneurship, small business development, health and fitness, revenue generation, sales presentation, mental health, self-publishing, innovation, risk management, youth mentorship, social media marketing, personal growth and executive leadership.
