Human Excellence Behavioral Health Services
About
I have been officially in this field since 1979. Our objective is to help people become more effective in being truly human. I began with a special internship at Temple University Community Mental Health Center in 1969-70 funded by NIMH to find ways to bridge the gap between religion and mental health. I was a religion and philosophy student in college with serious questions in this area. I found my answers and now I work with spiritual based counseling under my own concept and treatment ideology. My program is based on the cultural and spiritual history of people of African descent and accurate islamic practice Islam as did William James and Sigmund Freud. My work gets high approval from clients and professional. I was rated as expert in Community Mental Health ideology and diagnosis by the founder of the internship, Dr. John Fryer, a psychiatrist at Temple University. I am thrilled with my success in making a positive change in the lives of most of my clients contingent on them accepting my directions and approach. The smiles on the client's faces when they have completed their sessions and continued to do the work on themselves at home. To see the results is a wonderful feeling.
