Dr. Pasha has worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient hospitals, community mental health centers, state prison environments, college counseling centers, and the Veterans Administration system, as well as private practice. She brings this diverse experience to her work with Concierge Psychology.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A cum laude graduate in Psychology from Spelman College, Dr. Tara Pasha continued her education at Loyola College where she earned her M.S. in Clinical Psychology, then earned her Psy.D. from the University of Hartford, Graduate Institute of Professional Psychology. In a variety of inpatient, outpatient, and medical settings, Dr. Pasha has engaged in clinical assessment, individual, couples, and group therapy. Dr. Pasha has also served as a research clinician for clinical drug trials studying PTSD medications and was first author of a chapter published in Innovations in Clinical Practice: A 21 st Century Sourcebook (2010). Dr. Pasha has worked with clients presenting various life challenges ranging from adjustment and relationship issues to trauma and more severe forms of mental illness. She has trained in a variety of interventions, with a primary focus on interpersonal, problem-solving, cognitive-behavioral and supportive approaches. Additionally, as a black psychologist, she works to support increasing the utilization of mental health services by members of the black community. As a continuation of her commitment to advancement she is currently pursing licensure as a psychologist in Georgia while working under the supervision of Dr. Johnson Osei.
