About
I have been an entrepreneur for over 14 years and understand the daily struggle of balancing customers, business needs, employees and the rest while balancing your personal time. The hardest part of being an entrepreneur is turning off your mind and being present when you are ‘off the clock’. The most successful business owners among us have mastered the art of utilizing their time and resources.
Our practice is designed with the entrepreneur in mind. Making sure that we are a resource that proactively looks at your business needs. From business funding to expanding, we will do our best to understand you and your business, and that goes beyond taxes and bookkeeping.
Fianlly, the most important thing a potential client should know about a professional is designations:
I received my accounting education at the university of Georgia and after a few years as an entrepreneur, I focused on my skill sets as an accountant and obtained my CPA license. I also have an MBA and an EA. I am also a ProAdvisor with QuickBooks.
I enjoy mostly helping clients and helping business owners achieve their goals. The best feeling is seeing a client take an idea and turn it into something amazing.
I have been working with clients and business since 2004, and the fact that most of my original clients have been with me this entire time blows me away. I try my best to work with you, around your schedule and needs.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The most common answer given in this profession is…. It depends. If you are a client that needs tax preparation assistance, I will schedule a meeting to go over the previous return as well as give you a detailed list of items that I need in order to prepare your current return.
If, for example you are in need of tax resolution assistance, first I will send you a client questionnaire that will help me assess your case and take action quickly.
If you are a non-profit that files a 990, in order to maintain your status, you must file at least a 990n form every three years.
I say all that to say that each client will be handled differently, but the goal in each interaction is to make sure you receive quality service at a reasonable cost.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Western Governors University. I am licensed by the state of Georgia as a CPA and I am an Enrolled Agent as well. I am also a certified QuickBooks advisor. Since the tax changes this year are the largest in 30 years, my Continuing education for 2018 was triple that of any other year.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
The pricing is based on a few factors, the main factor is the level of complexity. For example, our hourly bookkeeping rates are not as high as our business consulting rates. Except in very rare cases, all prices will be provided upfront and in writing.
How did you get started in this business?
I am a business person at heart, so speaking to clients about their business dreams and aspirations was always a very enjoyable experience. I received my accounting education at the university of Georgia and after a few years as an entrepreneur, I focused on my skill sets as an accountant and obtained my CPA license. Although I assist larger companies, working with individuals and owner operators is always exciting and fulfilling. Seeing an idea become a company is always a great joy, but it always takes a lot of work and determination
What types of customers have you worked with?
I am very experienced with individual, corporate and non-profit returns. I also provide QuickBooks assistance, as well as company formation assistance. My true passion is tax resolution.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I assisted a small business in setting up a company. I assisted with the preparation of the formation documents, payroll, QuickBooks setup and the business plan. The process took 3 weeks.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Quality and experience matter above all else. Also it is great to have someone that can talk you through the process and make you feel at ease.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Ask what your desired outcome is and who is most equipped to get you to that goal. By defining the project, a client will have an easier time selecting a professional to work with. Also, try to see if this can be an ongoing relationship, which will save you time in having to interview firms, and adjust to the professional.
