What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a phone call to understand the situation, interests, and needs of a potential new or existing customer. If a mutual understanding is established, then I follow-up with an email to outline the next steps. I maintain communication throughout to ensure Clients know their needs are being addressed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
(1998) University degree in Accounting, GPA 3.67
(1999) Licensed Certified Public Accountant
6.5 years work experience with a top-tier Public Accounting firm (Deloitte)
14.5 years work experience across multiple industries in both public and private companies
3.5 years and counting as an independent
Continued Professional Education courses in topics such as: Accounting, Auditing, Tax, Ethics, General Business, Current Events & Pronouncements, etc.
Self-taught (as well) in many areas, i.e. "If I do not know it yet, then I will research and learn it".

How did you get started in this business?
I started my business preparing federal & state tax returns on personal time. Over the course of a decade, sufficient growth enabled me to provide services on a full-time basis as an independent public accountant.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with a wide array of customers and industries. (As a result, my skill set is very well-rounded.)
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A recent event that I am fond of was my progression towards professional independence and a completely remote "in the cloud" operation.
