Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As soon as I hear from a potential client I spend time talking to them about what their legal needs are. Once I understand the situation I present a plan for how to move forward efficiently and solve their legal issues based on both the nature of their concern and the client's budget.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida for my Juris Doctor. I have a master's degree in Information Management from the University of Maryland and an undergraduate degree from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I am flexible on how my pricing is set up. Some clients prefer a flat fee price and other clients prefer to use hourly services.
How did you get started in this business?
I have always enjoyed helping people and creative problem solving. Working as a family and business law attorney allows me to utilize those skills.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with all types of people. Business owners, parents, spouses, and individuals just to name some of the categories.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
It is important to hire a lawyer who takes the time to figure out what you are trying to accomplish and see if they are able to offer a plan that you are comfortable with. If you do not feel like they understand your goals and budget find a lawyer who does.
