About this pro

I help people overcome Religious Trauma, PTSD, Anxiety, and Depression through quality online counseling that is rooted in science, not faith.

I understand the sense of overwhelm that often comes from these struggles. It's the sleepless nights, and the inability to get out of bed the next day. It's the constant sense of worry, or that inexplicable feeling that everything is about to fall apart. It's not understanding why you feel so angry all the time, or may spontaneously burst into tears. It's the frustration that comes with just wanting to live a "normal" life.

Thankfully, that's not the end of your story. I want to help you laugh again, recover your motivation, and overcome those barriers that prevent you from living your best life. I take the time to genuinely connect with my clients, and, through the use of evidence-based treatments, I have helped hundreds of people just like you recover their quality of living.

I know that choosing a counselor is difficult. Take a moment and visit my website to see if you think we would be a good fit. Then, when you're ready, send me a message to schedule a free phone consultation. I can't wait to work with you, and discover together just what your life can become.

A tempest is an unrelenting storm, raging over the open sea. It is an example of the sheer power of nature once the shackles are taken off, when it is given the ocean currents to fuel its strength, and when there are no longer any bounds to keep it contained. It is nature’s parable about what we can become when we finally release our bonds.
This is the vision for Tempest Counseling. I want to help you overcome the barriers that hold you back, and experience the freedom of discovering your full potential.

Thomas made me feel comfortable from our first acquaintance which was very important to me. He is a great listener and gave me the feedback and guidance that I desperately needed. I feel more at peace and I am forever grateful.

My sessions with Thomas have been very helpful. He has helped me sort through my feelings and experiences so I can make sense of it all. I feel that now I have the tools I need to help myself. He has a wealth of knowledge and experiences that he can speak from. I would highly recommend him.
