Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First hour is the intake: lots of questions about how things have been, to give me an idea of what might be tangled together. At the end of this session, I can tell you approximately how many sessions we might need to clear the existing issues.
Next, we get right to work with applying and teaching you techniques. Homework, if given, is always practical and specific to you and your issues.
Therapy should be focused on the goal of solving the problem and is short-term.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been a trauma specialist since 2010 and utilise Rapid Resolution Therapy for fast and effective change.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
$150/hour. Sliding fee available upon request.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Have a phone interview to see if you are a good fit before booking a session.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Ask how long it will take to address your issues. I can give you an approximate length of time. Therapy should not be open-ended or take years to address a single issue.
