Graduated in 1986 from Queens College, City University of New York with a degree in Accounting. Thereafter he was employed as an agent by the Internal Revenue Service. With this valuable background in tax audits, he was invited to join the reputable, national firm of Richard A. Eisner & Company, where he dealt with the preparation, review, and representation of individual, corporate trust, and estate tax returns for high net worth clients. To further his knowledge base and skills, he joined as a Sr. Accountant with Perelson Johnson and Rones P.C., a midtown Manhattan accounting firm.

With this accumulation of experience in the accounting world, supported by the devotion of certain clients, Herman established an accounting practice in 1993. Herman specializes in guiding a number of healthcare practitioners, Information Technology companies, and various other businesses to launch successful start up ventures in the U.S. He also guides the team who specialize in filing 1040 NR's and servicing Foreign companies doing business in the USA. Herman helps international entities seeking presence in the USA to combat with the intricacies of Transfer Pricing Regulations in the USA so that their tax compliance and business goals are achieved. Currently Herman represent corporate, individual & fiduciary clients before the Internal Revenue Service on various tax issues. His expertise in these matters has yielded excellent results. Herman manages corporate, trust, and estate tax returns of high net worth client assets that range up to $ 75 Million, and his personal commitment is to provide cost-effective service – which has lead to the development, strength, and retention of long-term relationships. Recently we took on a new engagement, after review of the returns we realized prior years needed amendments as the taxes were not calculated properly. Client should not have been subjected to passive income tax, where he was active in his business.  Our office prepared a refund of prior 3 years overpayment of $ 55 thousand.  Client was very happy!
