I work with small businesses and start up public companies to help them manage their accounting, tax, compliance, and reporting needs. I am versed in QB and other accounting software platforms and have a tax software library going back 15 years for anyone who needs tax preparation and representation.
One of the most rewarding things an accountant may experience is the gratification of helping others. It is not easy to navigate the many rules and regs when one is trying to create and foster a business model as well as protect the stability and growth going forward. Most business owners simply dont have the mental bandwidth as they compete against the clock each day to get things in motion. Best practices always in play, out of the box thinking always allowed!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I have a new accounting client, we will first discuss the business and industry. What has the journey looked like for them and where does the company want to go. This inherently brings to the surface the obstacles and hurdles encountered along the way and how it is they arrived where they are. This process brings clarity to matters and precipitates questions and ideas on how to work together going forward.
For a new tax client, a similar approach is taken though often it's really not complicated and there's no emergency or plan needed. Taxes haven't been filed and the client is just simply about getting them filed.
