What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We are open to accept new clients. We would like to talk with them first, either by phone, skye, whatsapp, zoom, email, text; If we feel that we can work with each other, then we will accept them as a new client. We also want to learn as much information about that we can so that we can serve them better.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors of science degree in accounting from the University of Kentucky. I am licenses in Florida and am current with my continuing educational requirements of 80 hours every two years with a minimum of 20 hours each year in accounting alone.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Yes, basic tax returns for individuals start at $175 plus. Tax returns with a schedule C start at $225 plus. Tax returns with rental properties start at $225. Corporate and Partnership returns start at $675. Each of these return preparation fees include one state return.
Payroll has variable pricing depending on the number of employees and payroll cycles.
Bookkeeping is variable depending upon the service needed, frequency and complexity.
How did you get started in this business?
I worked for my father and did his bookkeeping and tax filings for his corporation.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have and do work with individuals, profession individuals, high income individuals (professional athletes) and small businesses that include real estate, construction, restaurants, retail, doctors, lawyers and other professional services.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My wife and I lived in Lima, Peru during 2018 and 2017 as missionaries. I maintained my business while I was there.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I feel that most of the time that it is about the relationship you have with the individual, how comfortable do you feel around them.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
They need to know what they want from the professional they are talking to and need to be able to explain what they need.
