Illuminated Counseling

Illuminated Counseling can assist you in connecting to your authentic self - a reservoir of wisdom, where answers to your questions and problems reside.We will develop a "ideal vision" for the life you want to live and create a plan on how to get there. Illuminated Counseling addresses the unconscious beliefs and memories that may be blocking you from living fully in the present and experiencing well-being, success and joy.

The approach is integrative and holistic, drawing on both Traditional Therapy techniques, e.g., Cognitive Behavioral, Object Relations, Family Systems, and Transpersonal (spiritual) Therapy methods, which may include, but are not limited to guided meditation, visualization, mindfulness practice, Gestalt, inner child work, release technique, and intuition work.

As your guide, I will support you in understanding the major themes and patterns playing out in your life and what they are trying to reveal to you. We will examine the past with the intention of understanding how it's impacting your present.

At the heart of Illuminated Counseling are these questions. It is my intention to support you in answering these questions:

1) Who am I?

2) What do I want and how can I get it?

3) What Is my unique purpose and how can I best fulfill it at this time?

I am a licensed Marriage Family Therapist in the state of Florida (MT3331.)

I earned my first Master Degree in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Spiritual Psychology in Santa Monica, CA. Then went on to study Depth Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute where I earned a Master Degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage & Family Therapy.

Credentials

Currently the Psychotherapist and Feng Shui Healer in residence at Carillon Wellness Resort Medical Team (formerly Canyon Ranch) in Miami Beach

Two years working as a counselor with families, individuals, at-risk teenagers and children in an agency setting.

7 years conducting personal growth workshops in Miami, Seattle and LA in places such as Miami Woman's Group, Center of Grace in Hallendale Beach, Creative Chakra & Spa, National Geographic, Bikram Yoga, Providence Hospital & Canyon Ranch in Miami Beach.
