Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a company reaches out to us we are open minded and sensitive to their needs. We work with customers at their office or ours. Getting their contact info and as much info about the company is helpful.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
over 50 years of bookkeeping experience.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
New clients are typically billed hourly while we learn the scope of the work and get the books in order. Once the workload is established, ongoing bookkeeping may be moved to a monthly fee. Pricing depends on the complexity and condition of the books.;
How did you get started in this business?
We decided many years ago that our experience can help many companies and we wanted to have the freedom of making our own schedule.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Many companies. Self employed businesses with 1 to 250 employees.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We relocated here in Florida to be close to my grandchildren.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Look for a bookkeeper who listens carefully, understands your business, and can explain your books in plain English. Ask about their experience, the software they work with, how they handle cleanups, and how they communicate with clients. A good bookkeeping relationship should help you stay organized today while making it easier to grow tomorrow.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Customers should know what their immediate needs are and what they want for their future. Also keeping an open mind to what advice they are given to help them succeed.
