About
I care about their needs to get them the best refund. I use the new and updated tax laws to their benefit. I treat each customer individually. I am available year round for questions and concerns.
I have been preparing taxes for thirty years and have grown up around the accounting field. I enjoy meeting new people and give them the full service not like the big companies that are interested in the money. I am interested in the needs of my clients.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Discuss what they are looking for. Also review pass tax returns to get a general idea on their tax liability and see if there are any changes that need to be made to help get a better refund.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor in accounting. I have been preparing taxes since 1989.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I start out with a basic price and depending on their financial situation and the forms needed it might go up a little. I am also worked out payment plans to pay for the preparation. It is more important to get the tax return filed correctly and on time. Also to get the refund back in the client's hands as quickly as possible because times are rough.
How did you get started in this business?
I used to help my mother in her office when I was in middle school. She worked for a CPA. I always enjoyed numbers and computers and this was a way to use both. Also it gave me an opportunity to help people get the best refund while using the tax laws to their advantage.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with clients that are incorporated, self employed and work for an employer. There have been clerks and musicians and telemarketing companies.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I had a client that is a rn and is self employed. She would go to the big name tax companies and just accepted the amount she owed without question. She came to me and I started asking a lot of questions about her job and found there were deductions she never took on her tax return because no one asked. Now she is not owing the IRS she is receiving a refund.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ask about their education and experience. Ask if they have ever been audited by the IRS or have any of their clients that they prepared the tax return.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Make sure they have all their tax documents together and their prior year tax return. What are their expectations.
