Red Sage Acupuncture Center
About
I treat a wide variety of physical and emotional complaints. My specialties are pain treatment, and stress/anxiety relief. I take care to work closely with each patient to determine the cause of his or her complaints, and the most effective route to health and happiness.
I love helping people to heal. My patients come to me with all kinds of symptoms and goals, and I love seeing them return to health. Sometimes people have not had luck with other more conventional types of medicine or therapy and this is especially rewarding.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new patient, I typically spend about 45 minutes discussing the patient's symptoms and goals, as well as their medical history and current stressors. I then do a physical examination as needed, to get an overview of the patient's health and structure. This helps me to learn as much as possible about the person and determine the best route to health.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters in Oriental Medicine from the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture, and am board certified by the NCCAOM in both acupuncture and herbal medicine.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing details are available on my website. Patients can pay for sessions individually, or I have some packages available that offer a nice savings over time.
How did you get started in this business?
I began in the holistic health field as a yoga therapist, working with the body. From there, I found acupuncture and decided to pursue the intensive program of study to become an acupuncture doctor.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with adults as well as children, who come to me with a wide range of symptoms. Some are very interested in the holistic and spiritual side of Chinese medicine, while others are simply looking for effective relief from what ails them.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I feel that it is important to choose an acupuncturist who you feel will be a good match for you personally, and with whom you will be able to make a commitment of time. Acupuncture is not a one-time quick solution, it is a way of maintaining health. So the willingness to pursue treatment over at least five sessions is important.
