Health Psychology Services LLC
About
Our goal is to make mental health care more mainstream. Using telehealth allows therapy to become more affordable, with session rates that are lower than some insurance copays. It also is more accessible to those with limited finances, transportation barriers, child or family care responsibilities, or medical issues that make travelling to an office difficult.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Be honest with your psychologist, including if you don't feel they are a good fit for you. We can't help you if we don't know what's going on. Good therapy is difficult and feeling comfortable with your therapist is a must.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
-Are you ready to commit to therapy? Most therapy is at least 6-12 sessions.
-What are you hoping will be different after therapy? Are your expectations realistic?
-What level of therapy do you need? Not everyone will benefit from the type of therapy we offer. Be honest with yourself - if you need more intense treatment, that's okay.
-Does your therapist have experience with your issue(s)? If you're not sure, ask.
