ABOUT ME
Are you struggling to make decisions that you feel should be simple? Is it difficult for you to maintain relationships with family, your partner or children? Do you have a history of trauma or abuse? Are your tired of falling into the same patterns or cycles? Do you feel you are your best self?
I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC). I'm here to assist with support, guidance, and skills to help you to make the best decisions so you can get better results. I provide individual, couples, and family psychotherapy to young adults and adults. Previous and current clients describe me as an intuitive, open-minded person who is easy to talk to. I integrate different approaches to help clients reach their goals. I prefer to work from a relational and psychodynamic perspective. I also use a holistic approach which encompasses the spirit, body, and mind. Other approaches I use include Cognitive Behavior Therapy with Solution-Focused Theory.
I believe in changing your thoughts to change your world. I am direct and honest and solution and goal oriented. I believe in supporting the whole person, and implementing interventions based on unique and individual needs. I believe that therapy can only be effective when there is alliance between the therapist and client.
I feel strongly that you must be fully invested in treatment for it to work. My goal is to understand and listen to client’s preferences and opinions so we can develop a plan together. I believe clients posses all of the resources they need to get the life they want.
Some of my experience includes addictions, trauma, PTSD,self esteem, abuse, infertility, decision making, pornography, depression, anxiety, marriage, partner and family relationships.
