Dr. Melissa Bridges
About
I am trained to understand the broader context of people's lives in order to help them with their struggles. When people are able to feel deeply understood, they can often make important connections that can help releive the anxiety or stress that surround them.
I enjoy connecting with people in ways that help them transcend the difficulties can life eneviably brings to each of our lives.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am happy have a brief consultation over the phone so you can make sure we are a good fit. I believe finding the right person to support you is one of the most important aspects of the therapy process.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy. I was trained to work with clients using a systemic perspective. This is similar to how eastern doctors see the body connected in place of focusing on patholgy in isolation of all the other parts. In other words Family Therapy is to Eastern medicine as Psychotherapy is to Western medicine.
