I like to talk to the client and discuss the presenting issues before we set up an appointment.  I also offer a free consult. I can provide phone or Skype sessions as well.

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist for over 17 years. As a marriage and family therapist I treat the family system as well as the individual people in that system. Often times I work with an individual person before I include additional family members.

I work with a wide variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, anger management, mood disorders, personality disorders, work and career issues, grief and loss, personal conflict, improvement of communication skills and improving goal setting. I can also provide therapy to an entire family at once to resolve conflict.

I am also a trauma therapist who can provide EMDR and individual therapy for adults with a history of child abuse, sexual abuse, domestic violence and abandonment issues. I also specialize in marriage and couples therapy.  I address a wide variety of marriage issues such as infidelity, communication issues, anger management, sexual issues and  childhood issues that impact the relationship. I can also assist those that need help with parenting issues.  I work with couples that are divorcing or are divorced and need guidance through the process, including visitation and parenting in two households. 

I work wih children and teens on issues ranging from depression, anxiety, eating disorders, past trauma and abuse issues.  I can help with behavior problems and parenting skills. 

I work with addictions such as substance abuse, pornography and gambling, codependency, and adult children of alcoholics.
