Hi, I’m Chermaine Lawrence. I have my B.B.A in. Accounting and I have 12 years experience in preparing taxes for individuals, small business and corporations. I am originally from Jamaica and migrated to the US at 10. Fast forward,I took an accounting class as a pre-requisite in college , fell in love and changed my major to Accounting. I have a passion for numbers and for helping people calculate the right numbers.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I discuss with the client their needs. I send an agreement that details what my job is and how much it is. After a couple weeks of working I will analyze the company to see if the right package as created. If I find anything that can improve the clients buisness I will bring it to the clients attention and take it from there.

I have my B.B.A in Accouning.

How did you get started in this business?
After working as an Acounting for 5 years and preparing taxes for 12 years I decided it was time to branch out on my own and start my own company. I get to make my own hours and run my company how i see fit.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
I think it's the other way around. Clients should reach out for a pro to help with their business. The pro should be the one questioning the client about their business and coming with a plan that would best suite the client. Yes the clients needs will be factored in aand taken care of.
