Dr. Lorraine Byrnes PhD
About
I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner who specializes in issues related to perinatal and perimenopausal mood and anxiety disorders including postpartum depression and sexual issues. I have a PhD from Columbia University and completed post graduate studies in human sexuality at NYU. I am board certified by ANCC.
I really enjoy helping women, couples and families achieve their goals and to attain optimal health. Sometimes it is difficult to express our feelings, make sense of symptoms we may experience and know when to seek professional help. I begin by offering a free call to determine if I am the right therapist for you. I can conduct therapy sessions using Skype or we can schedule face to face sessions. The most important thing is to address any and all mental health concerns.
