What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Interview to discuss what has to be addressed. To determine if involvement is for work at the Federal or State level involving preparation of returns,collection matters or representation at local, district or appeals. This includes tax matters involving business, personal,estate & gift and international work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Family background of 97 years as Internal Revenue Agents. My background is 30 years as an IRS Agent, 5 years with Florida Department of Revenue as a Special Investigator and as a corporate & intangible tax auditor and 30 years operating my tax consulting practice.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My hourly rate is 250 for consulting, preparation and representation at the local level. My rate to represent in appeals is 300. For collection offers and appellate work I ask for a retainer to prepare the required filings of 1,500 & 2,500 which is applied against time spent to represent. I charge travel at the current government rates which is added to any retainer. All tax work is billed for complexity and time involved which will be established with the client prior to initiation of any assignment. I charge for my knowledge and experience to service my client.

I grew up all my life with IRSAgents. My Father was one. My brother was one. And my cousin was one.
