What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For a new tax client, I like to look at their prior year return as we discuss the current year, so I have an understanding of what occured in the prior year and what may have changed in the current year This helps focus on the documents that will be needed to file a complete return.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a CPA with over twenty years of experiance. I am a graduate of both Florida State University and the University of North Florida, where I have earned degrees in management, marketing and accounting as well as having earned a Masters of Business Administration.
I have worked in both Public and Private accounting capacities, serving as a CFO, Controller, Auditor, Tax Advisor and Consultant to a wide variety of businesses and individuals.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Tax laws are always changing, and it is usually very helpful to have someone that can help you solve the accounting and tax puzzle, so you have time to focus on the bigger picture.
