Living Your Values, LLC.
About
What hurt in your life never got the attention or nurturance to heal because you thought you had to be “strong?” Trauma, addiction recovery, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges can often overlap--or can feel entirely overwhelming on their own. This is why I completed specialized training and certification in Addiction & Trauma, and why I believe in meeting clients compassionately where they are emotionally & cognitively. Sometimes, the people in our lives do not know how to support us in the way we need in this moment. Sometimes, we do not even know what we need, nevermind know how to ask for it.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is a mindfulness-based practice that allows you to explore yourself and your situation, without any judgment or need to fight against what you are experiencing. We can overcome your challenges by, instead, taking away their power from monopolizing your time and energy and shifting your direction towards what you truly want.
What makes you uncomfortable about making a change? What are you fearful of? With a trauma-informed, solution-focused, values-based approach, I also work with my clients at their own pace to explore themselves, their experiences, and their hopes. I specialize in self-esteem, mindfulness, anger management, relapse prevention, communication, and couples therapy.
People heal through connection to others. We were not designed to get better on our own. I encourage you to reach out. You can live a healthier and more fulfilling life, and you get to decide when that starts. I hope for you that it will be now.
